



Christer de Silva
Christer de Silva is a Filipino researcher and designer who cares about making knowledge work differently. He is currently a PhD candidate at the UNESCO Chair in Science Communication for the Public Good, exploring the promises, perils, and possibilities of entangling epistemologies in engagement with science and technology. Christer’s design practice focuses on brand identity, visualisation, and editorial for education, small businesses, and nonprofits.

Before starting his doctoral program, Christer has brought science to life in museums and science centres throughout the Asia-Pacific region with exhibits, experiences, and media.
Christer participated in the prestigious Alexander Humboldt Foundation's Residency Programme in Germany in 2024 and won the first Designcrowd's Philippine Logo Design Awards in 2013.
